The pistols feature forged frames and slides for superior strength and durability compared to the cast models of competitors. Additional features also include low profile 3-dot sights, checkered thinline wood grips, an extended thumb safety and beavertail, and a skeletonized hammer for ultra-fast lock times. This model is a new EDC variant from Springfield featuring a stainless steel finish and a compact 4.25-inch barrel. It is chambered in .45 ACP and includes one magazine along with Springfield’s signature soft handgun case.
