The Rugged Obsidian 9 is a full auto rated 9mm silencer that is able to handle 22LR and subsonic 300 Blackout as well. It’s user-configurable design allows shooters to utilize industry-leading suppression in the full size format, or run it in an extremely short 4.85″ length. The Obsidian 9 has a 17-4 stainless steel baffle stack housed inside a hard coat anodized aluminum tube with a black Cerakote finish.
Just like its bigger brother, the Obsidian 45, is user serviceable allowing you to shoot 22lr or non-jacketed rounds through it. If you do clean it, the click together baffle system prevents carbon build up between the tube and the baffle stack; which will ease the cleaning process. The Obsidian 9 maintains Rugged’s “Belt Fed Rating” for 9mm and 300 BLK subsonic rounds and does this while weighing as little as 8.7 oz. Just like the Obsidian 45, the Obsidian 9 utilizes most SilencerCo pistol suppressor accessories for compatibility.
